DISTRIBUTION:
Senegal to Togo in West Africa,and eastward to the Nile River in southern Sudan.
FOOD:
Carnivorous Usually found in grassland,savanna and forest edges
NOTES:
Like most Pythons,they are good climbers,but are usually seen on the ground. They live 20-25 Years in Captivity .To defend itself,this Python rolls into a ball with their head tucked in the middle, a trait that gives it its name.
