These creatures can live up to 20 years. Their tanks should be provided with heat lamps so the Iguana can sunbathe. Iguanas have large heads and a row of large spines down their neck and back.They spend most of their time basking over canals or ponds, where they can escape danger by plunging headfirst into the water.
