FOOD:
Fruits, seeds and nuts.
DISTRIBUTION:
From the northern parts of India and Nepal through Assam, Burma, the Andaman islands, the southern portion of China to Indochina and Indonesia.
NOTES:
This noisy bird, when in captivity can behave quietly. In nature, however, they sometimes can act wild and excited. Young birds can easily be taught to speak a few words.
