Bolivia, Northern Paraguay, Northern Argentina
NOTES:
The blue throated macaw has long remained a mysterious bird. There is grave concern for the future survival of this macaw as it is highly coveted in the live bird trade. Usually found in pairs these birds often intermingle with flocks of the Blue and Yellow Macaws
