FOOD:
Green food, vegetables, seeds, peanuts, berries.
DISTRIBUTION:
Columbia, Ecuador, north western Peru.
NOTES:
These birds are relatively rare so there is very little recorded information on their habits. They have pleasing natures, quickly become tame and seem to take kindly to captivity. They are generally encountered in pairs or small flocks and fly rapidly for long distances while constantly emitting shrill screeches.
