FOOD:
Soft fruits, nuts, seeds.
DISTRIBUTION:
Northern Brazil, south of the Amazon River
NOTES:
It is a very distinctive species. They are usually seen in small groups but at a localized food source several groups will often come together, then after feeding will depart separately. Whilst in flight these birds call constantly and if undisturbed will keep up a constant chatter while fluttering about in the treetops, but if disturbed will become silent and motionless.
