NOTES:
Unmistakable in appearance and widely kept throughout the world, Peafowl have been bred for so long in captivity that a number of colour variants is now well established. Their large size and the magnificent train of the peacocks gives these birds an imposing appearance. Their feeding is simple and when kept at liberty in a large park they will forage for much of their food. This wonderful bird runs to escape danger and seldom takes wing.
