FOOD:
Fruits, nuts, seeds, grain
DISTRIBUTION:
Central and southern Peru, eastern Bolivia and north western Argentina.
NOTES:
There is little published information on this Conure. Usually seen in pairs or trios although they have been observed in flocks of up to one hundred when taking ripening grain from the local farmers. They are a playful, noisy species but not recommended as pets.
