FOOD:
Seeds, Berries, fruits and vegetable matter.
DISTRIBUTION:
Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay.
NOTES:
This species are usually very expensive. They are also very noisy and quite destructive and therefore require a large aviary. They are not suitable to house with other birds. These are migratory birds heading south for the winter. The eggs are almost spherical and glossy.
